Hi Good video. One question please. Did you use a reverse cut jigsaw blade? You cut from the top but the laminate did not fracture at all along the cut line. I would be tempted to flip over the work top to ensure the laminate did not splinter, but this would not happen if you used a reversed cut blade (cuts on the downstroke). I know the edge is covered by the overhanging basin, but it would be safer. Thanks again.

Never use washing up liquid on seals as they slip off as liquid stays in liquid form.

Can I get the semi pedestal and sink out and get a new sink and full pedestal or will the water supply pipes be in the wrong place? Advice would be appreciated!

I have a semi pedestal in my new build house. I hate it. The builders promised me a full pedestal. The full pedestal would only have cost the builder 10 more. I’m going have to get the sink and semi pedestal out and get a different sink and full pedestal. I hate Roca sinks anyway. They are too shallow. Getting a Nuie Bliss one.

Nice and straightforward but no mention of fixing the down the basin to the worktop with brackets...otherwise its just relying on mastic and the waste pipes to hold it in position!

Sorry I am a bit puzzled , I watched this vid over and over and I cant see where he fits a WC connector on the back of the pan , it looks like he is just connecting the WC to the waste pipe without one ,have I missed something ????

How ridiculous, you spend all that money on a cabinet which has a 10 year guarantee, then you have to take a hole saw to it to install the flush pipe.😤 Been in “conversation “ with Bathstore customer services and their so called technical experts to try and resolve the non matching heights between the cabinet aperture and the pan flush pipe hole, to save bodging the painted finish, they didn’t even know that this video existed. To use a pun, and not a pan, “what a shower”....... and still no answers over a week later.

The trouble is they don’t last long, the soft close mechanism, soon loses it’s will to soft close then your back to banging toilet seats then you payout again for a new one, they are good but they don’t last that long maybe twelve months if your lucky,, they are a (money pit)

Surely the pipe wrench should be used the other way round, otherwise it can slip off when tightening
